Even after 50 years of its existence of the State of Maharastra it has been seen that there is no specific policy announced for Youth Welfare and also the state’s stance regarding ‘Youth’ is not clear.

Considering these realities, Navmaharashtra Yuva Abhiyan (NYA) in assistance with various Social Organizations, NGOs and academicians has taken up the program of Maharashtra State Youth Policy Declaration.

Since 5 years have already passed since the last Youth Policy declared in the year 2003, NYA keeping up with its Social Responsibilities has decided to analyze the content, suggest relevant inclusion/ modifications of the National Youth policy and ensure proper implementation, with assistance of its partner Organizations.
Organizations like CORO, YUVA, CYDA, Navnirman- Mumbai, Apana Anubhav of Nirmala Niketan College of Social Work, Abhudaya Foundation, Vishwas Dnyan Prabodhini And Research Institute- Nasik, Dhyeya Pratishthan-Sindhudurga and Association of Muslim Professionals(AMP) have partnered with NYA in these efforts.
